Horror accident at Thredbo as 4 plummet to the bottom in chairlift disaster

A chair has damaged off a ski raise and plummeted to the bottom at Thredbo Ski resort on Saturday afternoon.
The 4 friends have been thrown to the bottom midway up the Kosciuzko Quad Categorical chairlift round 2.20pm when a gust of wind indifferent the chair.
A NSW Ambulance spokeswoman instructed Each day Mail Australia crews attended a name at Friday Drive, Thredbo and assessed two females of their 20s and a male in his 20s.

The incident was attributable to ‘a freak gust of wind’, a spokesman for Thredbo stated.

There have been wind gusts recorded at Thredbo Prime Station of 65km/h at across the time of the incident, in accordance to the Bureau of Meteorology web site, with circumstances described as ‘windy’.
The same incident occurred on the Thredbo ski fields in 2019 when a chair on the ski raise indifferent in sturdy winds, with a skier being thrown to the bottom.
