Woman, eight, dies after falling from tower block balcony as girl, 43, is arrested

An eight-year-old lady has died after falling from the balcony of a tower block in Portsmouth and a 43-year-old girl has been arrested.
Emergency companies swarmed the scene in Buckland at round 6.30pm yesterday.
Police instructed the Portsmouth Information a woman had died after falling from a balcony.
A 43-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of neglect, the report mentioned.
A police spokesman mentioned: ‘We have been known as at 6.50pm on Thursday to experiences of a kid having fallen from a balcony on Wingfield Avenue, Portsmouth.
‘We attended together with our colleagues from South Central Ambulance Service who handled the eight year-old lady, who subsequently died.
‘Her household has been knowledgeable.
‘Officers can be within the space all through the day to conduct enquiries. Anybody with any issues can communicate to our Neighbourhood Policing Groups that can be frequently patrolling.
‘A 43-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of neglect of a kid and stays in custody at the moment.’
