Reem’s in San Francisco, an Arabic restaurant, refuses to serve cops in uniform or these carrying a gun

An Arabic bakery in San Francisco is refusing to serve cops in uniform or anybody carrying a weapon.  

Reem’s California, an area bakery chain, was known as out on-line by the San Francisco Police Officers’ Affiliation on August 24 for not serving uniformed officers.

‘That features fostering an atmosphere of security for our employees and clients,’ the restaurant wrote within the submit. ‘In a time of elevated gun violence – notably impacting folks of colour, youth and queer folks – have been imagine that sustaining a strict coverage of prohibiting weapons in our restaurant retains us safer.’

The submit added many members of the ‘our group’ have been impacted by gun violence – both in San Francisco, space of struggle or fears of political extremism.
