The London Fireplace Brigade (LFB) despatched groups to the scene this morning and used one among their 100ft (32m) ladders after first receiving calls in regards to the blaze at 9.46am.

Crews from Chiswick, Hammersmith, Richmond and surrounding fireplace stations had been on the scene, and the LFB confirmed the reason for the hearth was not but recognized.
