5 Bulgarian nationals suspected of spying for Russia can be charged with conspiracy to conduct espionage, the Crown Prosecution Service has mentioned.
Orlin Roussev, 45, Bizer Dzhambazov, 41, Katrin Ivanova, 31, Ivan Stoyanov, 31, and Vanya Gaberova, 29, will seem at Westminster Magistrates’ Courtroom on September 26.
The CPS mentioned they ‘can be charged with conspiring to gather data supposed to be straight or not directly helpful to an enemy for a goal prejudicial to the security and curiosity of the state’.
The fees relate to actions between August 30 2020 and eight February 2023.
