British scientists to construct the world’s strongest laser 1,000,000, billion, billion instances brighter than the solar

The world’s strongest laser, able to producing a beam 1,000,000, billion, billion instances brighter than the solar, is about to be constructed by British scientists.

It’s hoped the £85million Vulcan 20-20 laser, which can be constructed in Oxfordshire, will speed up advances in nuclear fusion, renewable vitality and batteries.

The laser can be constructed on the Science and Know-how Amenities Council (STFC) Central Laser Facility in Harwell.

The ability has acquired £85 million from UK Analysis and Innovation, the government-backed science funder.
