Julia Roberts Doesn’t Know The place to Flip After Huge Cyber Assault in ‘Depart the World Behind’ Trailer (Video)
With the futures of their households at stake if not the way forward for the world, Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke and Mahershala Ali aren’t positive who to belief within the trailer for “Depart the World Behind,” the brand new Netflix unique movie from “Mr. Robotic” creator Sam Esmail.
“All the things I do know I’ve informed you,” Ali says within the trailer for the movie, an adaptation of the best-selling novel by Rumaan Alam written and directed by Esmail.
“I don’t imagine you,” a foreboding Roberts responds within the clip, which you’ll watch above.
As a large cyber assault places everybody at risk, Kevin Bacon stands his floor on his porch, donning a Dallas Cowboys cap with a shotgun totally on the prepared.
“I’ll defend my household,” says Bacon, in a sinister supporting function. “What you do is what you are promoting.”
In the meantime, a large ocean freighter heads straight for the seaside, and all of the locals can do is watch and document the unfolding motion on their telephones.
Per the Netflix logline, “Amanda (Roberts) and her husband Clay (Hawke), lease an opulent house for the weekend with their youngsters, Archie (Charlie Evans) and Rose (Farrah Mackenzie). (Ali) and his daughter Ruth (Myha’la) — arrive within the night time, bearing information of a mysterious cyberattack and looking for refuge in the home they declare is theirs. The 2 households reckon with a looming catastrophe that grows extra terrifying by the minute, forcing everybody to return to phrases with their locations in a collapsing world.”
“Depart the World Behind” will premiere Wednesday on the AFI Fest in Hollywood. It should have a restricted theatrical run beginning on Nov. 22 and can debut Dec. 8 on Netflix.
