Supt Owain Llewellyn stated it “seems to have been a tragic accident”.

Supt Llewellyn advised a press convention on Tuesday afternoon that it was thought the group travelled to Harlech on Saturday with plans to camp in Eryri – additionally known as Snowdonia – on Sunday.

The pressure stated its ideas have been with the household and pals of the 4 teenagers.

Crystal Owen, Harvey’s mum, earlier advised the BBC she was on her option to north Wales to be nearer to the search operation.

Ms Owen stated she was unaware her son was happening a tenting journey and believed he was going to remain at a buddy’s grandfather’s home.

All 4 boys have been college students at at Shrewsbury Faculty and have been doing A-levels.
