Israeli minister hints at retaliatory actions taken in Iraq, Yemen, Iran


JERUSALEM (Reuters) – Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant hinted on Tuesday that the nation had retaliated in Iraq, Yemen and Iran for assaults carried out towards it because the battle with Hamas-led Palestinian militants within the Gaza Strip widens to different areas of the area.

“We’re in a multi-front battle and are coming underneath assault from seven theatres: Gaza, Lebanon, Syria, Judea and Samaria (West Financial institution), Iraq, Yemen and Iran. We have now already responded and brought motion in six of those theatres,” he advised lawmakers.
