Biden threatens veto of U.S. Home’s ‘political ploy’ Israel invoice

(Reuters) -U.S. President Joe Biden’s administration mentioned on Monday he would veto a standalone invoice backed by Home of Representatives Republicans that would offer support to Israel, because it pushes for a broader measure offering help to Ukraine and Israel and offering new funds for border safety.

“The Administration strongly encourages each chambers of the Congress to reject this political ploy and as an alternative shortly ship the bipartisan Emergency Nationwide Safety Supplemental Appropriations Act to the President’s desk,” the Workplace of Administration and Price range mentioned in a press release.
