Within the UK, Graeme Biggar, head of the Nationwide Crime Company, said in December that he wished to see more durable sentences for offenders who possess little one abuse imagery, including that AI abuse imagery “issues, as a result of we assess that the viewing of those pictures – whether or not actual or AI-generated – materially will increase the chance of offenders shifting on to sexually abusing kids themselves”.
