Bobi, beforehand topped the world’s oldest canine, has misplaced his title as a consequence of inconclusive proof of his age, Guinness World Data (GWR) introduced Thursday.
A Guinness assessment launched final month concluded it “now not has the proof it must assist Bobi’s declare because the file holder”.
Bobi died final October on the age of 31 years and 165 days, exceeding the 12-14 years life expectancy for his breed, Rafeiro.

Bobi was initially recognised by Guinness on the age of 30 years and 266 days.

“We aren’t but ready to verify a brand new holder for the file,” Guinness added.
