MOSCOW (Reuters) – Russian President Vladimir Putin stated on Thursday that Joe Biden‘s “loopy SOB” comment confirmed why the Kremlin felt that for Russia, Biden could be a preferable future U.S. president to Donald Trump.
“We’re able to work with any president. However I consider that for us, Biden is a extra preferable president for Russia, and judging by what he has simply stated, I’m completely proper,” Putin advised state tv, with a slight smile.
“It is not like he can say to me, ‘Volodya, thanks, nicely executed, you have helped me rather a lot,'” Putin stated. “You requested me which is healthier for us. I stated it then that, and I nonetheless assume I can repeat it: Biden.”
The Kremlin earlier stated that Biden had debased the US by calling Putin a “loopy SOB” at a San Francisco fundraiser on Wednesday.
