Needed intercourse offender arrested, marshals say man was dwelling deep in Louisiana swamp
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A needed man was arrested after authorities received a tip that he was dwelling deep within the Louisiana swamp.
In response to the U.S. Marshals Service, Brian Schaller was needed on lively warrants and supervised launch violations. He had warrants out from sheriff’s workplaces in East Baton Rouge and Tangipahoa parishes. Warrants included violating phrases of his intercourse offender registry and felony sexual battery fees, officers mentioned.
Authorities obtained an nameless tip on March 12 that Schaller could have been within the Atchafalaya Basin swamp. On March 13, officers have been requested to assist observe down Schaller.

Schaller was present in a construction constructed within the swamp and brought into custody with out incident, officers mentioned. The construction is described as being constructed with tree limbs, tarps and parachute wire. Officers mentioned Schaller had a number of small sport traps alongside trails and an early warning system produced from string and aluminum cans.
Brokers mentioned Schaller instructed them he had been dwelling off the land since January, consuming small sport and rodents.
