In an announcement on social media, the Fullerton Police Division stated officers responded to stories of a possible bank robbery within the 100 block of West Bastanchury Highway round 5:09 p.m. and commenced evacuating staff.

KTLA reported that the suspect was shot after exiting the bank, and that officers then despatched in a robotic and drone to research objects surrounding the unresponsive suspect.

No staff or officers have been injured, the Police Division stated.
