After a 61-year-old pilot handed out on the controls, a passenger landed the airplane. The pilot was Duke College Professor Joseph Izatt who was a pioneer in Duke’s biomedical engineering division. He apparently suffered a deadly huge coronary heart assault whereas flying the airplane. Fortunately, the flight teacher took over the controls and landed the airplane safely in North Carolina.
