Ukraine commander says French navy instructors to go to Ukrainian coaching centres


KYIV (Reuters) -Ukraine’s high commander mentioned on Monday he had signed paperwork permitting French navy instructors to go to Ukrainian coaching centres quickly.

“I’m happy to welcome France’s initiative to ship instructors to Ukraine to coach Ukrainian servicemen,” Oleksandr Syrskyi mentioned on the Telegram messaging app after talks through video hyperlink with French defence minister Sebastien Lecornu.

“I’ve already signed the paperwork that may allow the primary French instructors to go to our coaching centres shortly and familiarize themselves with their infrastructure and personnel.”
