Jamie Ray Mills executed in Atmore—what his ultimate day appeared like


ATMORE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Alabama Division of Corrections introduced the execution of demise row inmate Jamie Ray Mills was carried out on Thursday evening.

Mills was executed on the William C. Holman Correctional Facility in Atmore, and he was pronounced useless by a doctor at 6:26 p.m.

On Wednesday, Mills had six guests and 6 telephone calls.

On Thursday, he had six guests and no telephone calls. He accepted his breakfast tray, and his ultimate meal selection was seafood.

Mills was executed for the 2004 capital murders of Floyd and Vera Hill in Marion County.

His stays shall be launched to the Escambia County Coroner and brought to the Cell Lab of the Division of Forensic Sciences for a postmortem examination.
