At Least 2 Killed as New Mexico Fires Depart ‘Solely a Handful of Houses’ Standing
Two fires rising across the city of Ruidoso, New Mexico, had claimed not less than two lives by June 19, and destroyed round 1,400 constructions, officers told local media.
The South Fork and Salt fires broke out close to Ruidoso on Monday and had burned over 23,000 acres with no containment by Wednesday, fireplace data said.
