Household of kid shot by Douglas deputy making an attempt to cease carjacking hires civil rights attorneys


The household of a kid who was shot by Douglas County deputy has employed outstanding civil rights attorneys for his or her case.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation confirmed the deputy shot at a suspect making an attempt to carjack the household’s BMW on Monday at a fuel station on Fulton Industrial Boulevard.

Aaliyah Adams, the kid’s mom, shared images with Channel 2′s Tom Jones of where the gunfire went through the back window and hit her daughter.

The household has since employed civil rights attorneys Ben Crump and Bakari Sellers to “combat for justice and maintain the deputy accountable for capturing an harmless five-year-old woman.”

Crump and Sellers are calling for Douglas County Sheriff Tim Kilos to fireplace the deputy, who has not been recognized.
