Meth residue discovered at Ratekin Tower Flats

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — It has been found that one unit and a few frequent areas of the Ratekin Tower Flats should be closed for remediation.

This isn’t the primary time such a difficulty has occurred at Ratekin. In 2019, 17 of their items examined optimistic for methamphetamine, and 10 of these tenants had been straight related to the substance.

Since then, Ratekin has improved its screening course of and elevated the Grand Junction Housing Authority’s contact with the residents.

This newest discovery was made because of a tip. The GJHA says it can proceed to intently monitor every other exercise, prioritizing the security of their residents.
