Police pursuit from Missouri ends in critical crash in Illinois


PONTOON BEACH, Mo. – A police chase starting in Missouri crosses into Illinois earlier than ending in a critical crash.

County police say that the incident all started a little bit after midnight within the Jennings space of north St. Louis County.

The incident began when an officer from the Metropolis of Jennings Precinct tried to cease a Mercedes SUV dashing within the space of Goodfellow Avenue and Veronica Avenue.

Police declare the driving force of the Mercedes refused to cease and as a substitute made a U-turn, driving straight in the direction of the officer.
