OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — An Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Workplace deputy was arrested by the Fort Walton Police Division and fired from the sheriff’s workplace.
In line with an OCSO information launch, 25-year-old Dylan Gentry, a deputy at OCSO since 2021, is charged with reckless driving, racing and tampering with proof whereas working a motorbike.
Gentry was fired after he was arrested, in keeping with the discharge.

“His actions are usually not consultant of the professionalism and dedication to excellence we anticipate of our crew, and we commend our colleagues in Ft. Walton Seashore for his or her diligence,” the discharge mentioned.
Whereas at OCSO, Gentry earned an OCSO Life Saving Award and a Certificate of Commendation & Community Service Award.
