Inmate on the run after strolling away from GA work element


A multi-agency manhunt is underway after an inmate managed to stroll away from his work element in northeast Georgia.

On Monday, round 2:30 p.m., Bruce Douglas Partin, Jr., 39, a trustee with the Cities County Sheriff’s Workplace was working on the county dump off Freeway 288.

Deputies stated Partin walked away from the work element responsibility into the woods.

Partin was housed within the Cities County Detention Heart and awaiting his court docket look for prices on two counts of housebreaking, probation violation, theft by taking, and buy, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana.

On Tuesday, round 1:20 p.m., Partin was noticed on a path digital camera on the finish of Ivy Mountain Highway, within the Fodder Creek space.

Georgia State Patrol, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Division of Pure Sources are helping within the search.

The TCSO is providing a $500.00 reward for data resulting in his arrest. He at the moment stays at giant.
