Texas police discover baggage of marijuana, ecstasy hidden in Buc-ee’s beaver plushies

A routine site visitors cease in Texas turned out to be a “first” for officers once they found medication inside Buc-ee’s beaver plushies.
In accordance with the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Deputy Cody Williams pulled over a San Antonio man round 1 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 10. After the motive force consented to a search of the automobile, Williams acknowledged the odor of marijuana.
Tracing the odor to Buc-ee’s beaver plushies within the backseat, Williams felt packaging inside and seen they’d been re-stitched. Marijuana and ecstasy have been discovered hidden contained in the plushies.
The driving force, recognized as 47-year-old Lugene Davis Jr., stated he was having chest ache. An emergency medical workforce was known as to the automobile and transported Davis to a neighborhood hospital.
Officers report the medication have been seized from the automobile and a warrant can be issued for Davis’ arrest. The marijuana weighed over two kilos.
Buc-ee’s is a Texas-based comfort retailer chain with a beaver as a mascot. Its iconic beaver merchandise is broadly recognizable within the Lone Star state. In June, Buc-ee’s opened the world’s largest traveling center in Luling.
