Pope Francis names new archbishop of Boston, changing Cardinal Sean O’Malley


Pope Francis on Monday morning named a brand new archbishop of Boston, changing Cardinal Sean O’Malley, who has served for greater than 20 years.

O’Malley will introduce 59-year-old Reverend Richard G. Henning because the tenth bishop and seventh archbishop of the Archdiocese of Boston throughout a ten a.m. press convention on the Pastoral Heart in Braintree, in response to a memo shared from Vatican Metropolis.
