Buckeye man arrested after capturing at police in home violence incident, police say

A Buckeye man was arrested late Saturday night after exchanging gunfire with officers throughout what investigators imagine to be a home violence incident.

Carissa Planalp, a Buckeye Police Division spokesperson, mentioned officers responded to a house close to Miller Highway and Burgess Lane at round 11:30 p.m. after a lady instructed police her husband was armed with a gun and threatening to kill her. The lady walked out of her dwelling as officers arrived when her husband, a person in his 50s, adopted and commenced capturing at officers.

Planalp mentioned a minimum of one officer returned fireplace as the person went again inside the house. No officers have been injured.

Simply after 1 a.m., the person exited the house and was arrested with out incident.

Planalp mentioned the person was additionally unhurt and would launch his identification after he had been booked into jail. It was not instantly clear what felony expenses police would advocate to prosecutors as of Sunday morning.
