(Reuters) -Particles from a destroyed Ukrainian drone sparked a diesel gasoline fireplace at an industrial warehouse in Russia’s Rostov area, the governor of the southwest Russian area stated on Sunday.
“Firefighting items have been referred to as in to place out the hearth,” Governor Vasily Golubev stated on the Telegram messaging app.
Russia’s defence ministry stated on Telegram that its air defence items destroyed two Ukraine-launched drones over Rostov in a single day.
In a separate put up on Telegram, Golubev stated that nobody was injured in results of the assault that came about within the Proletarsk district of the area.
Baza, a Telegram channel near Russian regulation enforcement, stated an oil depot was broken in Rostov. Russia’s SHOT Telegram channel posted a video displaying darkish smoke rising from what it stated was an oil depot.
Reuters couldn’t independently confirm the reviews. There was no quick remark from Ukraine.
Kyiv has typically stated its air assaults on Russia’s army, vitality and transport infrastructure are in response to Moscow’s continued strikes on Ukrainian territory.
