GAYLORD — A dispute between two males that led to a deadly stabbing on Aug. 17 has been dominated a justifiable murder citing self protection, based on Gaylord Police Chief Frank Claeys.
Claeys mentioned Shemar Myrie, 33, and Kiran Smith, 35, had been one-time associates working at SunFrog Options, a Gaylord t-shirt firm.
“Mr. Myrie shoved Mr. Smith after exchanging phrases. Mr. Smith then returned to his work station.
