Hearth crews, police reply to Las Vegas lodge hearth, a number of flooring evacuated, police say


LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Hearth crews and police have responded and are evacuating a Las Vegas lodge after a fireplace Thursday night, in response to Metro police.

The Clark County Hearth Division and Metro police responded round 7:50 p.m. to the Renaissance Resort close to Paradise and Desert Inn roads after a report of a hearth close to the roof, police stated.

When crews arrived they discovered smoke coming from the roof the place they discovered a small hearth of fabric on the roof. The fireplace was rapidly extinguished, CCFD stated.
