Helicopter crash that killed Iran’s president was brought on by weather conditions, report finds

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — An official investigation into the helicopter crash in Could that killed Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and 7 different individuals discovered it was brought on by difficult climatic and atmospheric circumstances, Iranian state TV reported Sunday.

The ultimate report of the Supreme Board of the Common Workers of the Armed Forces mentioned the principle reason for the helicopter crash was the advanced weather conditions of the area in spring, state TV mentioned.

The report additionally cited the sudden look of a thick mass of dense fog rising upwards because the helicopter collided with the mountain.

In keeping with the report, there have been no indicators of sabotage in elements and techniques.

Raisi died alongside seven others together with his international minister Hossein Amirabdollahian within the crash in a distant mountainous space in northwestern Iran.
