SLO County couple ‘woke to a bloody scene’ after mountain lion carried prey by yard

Cambria residents Chris and Sharon Eidler “woke to a bloody scene” of their yard Wednesday morning.

A mountain lion had got here by their yard with its bloodied prey in its mouth over night time, the couple posted on neighborhood social media platform Nextdoor.

Their safety cameras captured an image of the mountain lion within the yard at 3:41 a.m. with what appeared like a cat or a raccoon in its mouth, in accordance with the publish.

That is the second mountain lion sighting in San Luis Obispo County this week.
