TSSAA investigating incident at Rutherford County highschool soccer recreation


RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Secondary College Athletic Affiliation (TSSAA) has investigated an incident involving pepper spray that occurred at a Rutherford County highschool soccer recreation final Friday evening.

The incident reportedly occurred at a soccer recreation between Blackman Excessive College and Oakland Excessive College that was hosted at Blackman.

A spokesperson for Rutherford County Colleges instructed Information 2 that the TSSAA has requested statements from every highschool and that the colleges predict a report and really useful disciplinary actions from the TSSAA “later this week.”

Moreover, the spokesperson stated that the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Workplace (RCSO) is helping with a prison investigation. When Information 2 reached out to RCSO, a spokesperson stated that no additional particulars may very well be launched because of the ongoing nature of the investigation.
