Shreveport Police officer killed in off-duty accident. Officer has been named
A Shreveport police officer is useless after an off-duty automotive accident.
Shreveport Police Division said in a Fb publish, “Please preserve the women and men of the Shreveport Police Division in your prayers as we navigate a tragic occasion.”
Late Friday, the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Workplace recognized the officer as Matthew Rhoden, 37.
In response to the coroner’s workplace, the wreck occurred round 2 p.m. at West seventieth St. and Pines Rd. when Rhoden’s car struck a van that pulled out in entrance of him.
Rhoden’s car then veered right into a vacant home and rolled over.
SPD stated, “We ask for prayers for all these concerned and their households throughout this tough time.”
