Iran overseas minister reiterates Israel retaliation warning


(Reuters) – Tehran won’t hesitate to take “stronger defensive actions” if Israel retaliates for final week’s missile assault by Tehran, Iran’s International Minister Abbas Araqchi stated on Friday.

Iran is “absolutely ready to take stronger defensive actions, if mandatory, in response to any additional aggression, and won’t hesitate to take action,” Araqchi stated in a letter to different overseas ministers, in response to a ministry submit on X.

Israel has repeatedly stated it should reply to Iran’s missile assault on Oct. 1, launched in retaliation for Israeli strikes in Lebanon and Gaza and the killing of a Hamas chief in Iran.

Araqchi stated in his letter that Iran’s missile assault on Israel had been in accordance with its proper to self defence underneath worldwide regulation and adopted a lot restraint because it sought a ceasefire within the Israel-Hamas warfare in Gaza.

Israeli Defence Minister Yoav Gallant has stated Israel will hit Iran in a means that can be “deadly, exact and shocking”.
