Flags to fly at half-staff in Missouri on Saturday


MISSOURI – Governor Mike Parson has ordered U.S. and Missouri flags to be flown at half-staff on Saturday at authorities buildings in St. Charles County and emergency medical stations in Missouri.

Flags shall be flown at half-staff to honor 27-year-old Michael R. Clarke, a St. Charles County Ambulance District paramedic.

Paramedic dies unexpectedly on duty in St. Peters

Clarke had been a licensed paramedic since September 30, 2022, and joined the St. Charles County Ambulance District on November 11, 2022. Clarke was discovered unresponsive in an ambulance district bed room after he didn’t reply to a name early within the morning on October 11.

After an try and resuscitate him, he was transported to a hospital however didn’t survive.
