HOUSTON – A number of Houston-area bars and golf equipment have acquired a 90-day suspension from the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Fee (TABC) after an investigation into alleged human trafficking.
The TABC and the Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance carried out the raids, resulting in the emergency suspensions at 9 areas that the TABC says had been “in flagrant violation of worldwide justice.”
The fee says the raids are the results of ten years of investigations, which concerned the TABC, in addition to native, state and federal regulation enforcement.
