GJPD searching for help to find suspects in ‘severe crash’


GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) – The Grand Junction Police Division is asking for the neighborhood’s assist in finding two suspects who had been allegedly concerned in a hit-and-run.

The suspects, 42-year-old Jacob Ryan Konig and Nichole Serena Melvin, 36, had been the reported driver and passenger, respectively. Konig’s truck allegedly struck a car from behind round 9 p.m., Oct. 10, close to the realm of 28 3/4 Street and North Avenue. The truck was touring at a excessive price of pace that led to a “severe crash,” GJPD mentioned within the press launch.
