Husband charged with homicide 25 years after lacking lady’s physique present in trash luggage

Atlanta police have arrested the husband of a lacking lady who was discovered murdered over 25 years in the past.

Melissa Wolfenbarger disappeared in December 1998 from her household’s residence in Atlanta.

In April and June 1999, detectives discovered human stays in trash luggage off Avon Ave. It wasn’t till March 2003 that testing confirmed that the stays belonged to Wolfenbarger.

Sources advised Channel 2′s Karyn Greer that prices have been pending towards Wolfenbarger’s husband, Christopher Wolfenbarger.

Fulton County Jail data present a Christopher Wolfenbarger was arrested Wednesday morning and charged with homicide.

The jail reserving reveals an offense date of April 29, 1999. That matches Melissa Wolfenbarger’s date of demise on APD’s Cold Homicide Cases database.

Detectives will talk about the case at 12 p.m. on Wednesday at police headquarters.
