Israel phases heavy airstrikes on Lebanon as Hezbollah launches assault over slain high commander

Israel launched a wave of airstrikes throughout southern Lebanon early Sunday in what it mentioned was a pre-emptive strike on Hezbollah, because the militant group mentioned it had launched a whole bunch of rockets and drones to avenge the killing of one in all its high commanders final month.
