Silverton man dies in two-vehicle crash on Oregon Route 224 close to Estacada

An Estacada pastor driving a motorbike died Saturday afternoon from accidents in a two-vehicle crash on Oregon Route 224 close to Estacada, Oregon State Police stated.
A preliminary investigation discovered a purple Ford Focus, operated by a 55-year-old Estacada man was eastbound on the freeway and tried a left flip right into a driveway, crashing right into a westbound black Harley Davidson motorbike, pushed by Richard Lee Detherage of Silverton, OSP stated.
Troopers responded the crash at 12:38 p.m. and carried out lifesaving measure on Detherage, 71, however he was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
Detherage was senior pastor at Estacada Meeting of God.
